I totally forgot to post my All About Eve Challenge #9...getting old and forgetful, I guess :) The challenge is based on the Post Secret site which is very interesting.

Al's "Photography I" Class WEEK ONE

This week's assignment is partly here...I'd like to get out again and get some more pics this week since we just had that nasty Noel here :) I have to tell you. it's KILLING me to not crop, enhance, lighten or "fix" any of my photos! BUT the main reason I took this class was to get better shots straight from the camera instead of relying on Photoshop for fixing them. I also wanted to learn to shoot with manual instead of auto settings and "hoping for this best", know what I mean? So here they are...in their naked glory! LOL

**All of these photos were taken, using a Canon Rebel xti with a Tamron 18-200mm lens, on the manual settings: 1/125, F8.0, ISO100**

I really love the next two of my son's friend Kyndra...not sure which is best though?

Even the birds had a hard day today! This seagull tried for about 3 minutes to get moving against those super high winds we had today:

We had tons of wind and lots of stuff knocked over, trees uprooted, large branches all over the road...fun stuff, eh?
This tree was FULL of gorgeous yellow leaves yesterday...
