Journal Your Christmas
Journaling my Christmas again with Shimelle again this year :) I'm so excited to actually have time to do my album this year. NO commitments, no DT's, no gifts to make...just me and my pen & paper! Here's my manifesto. It's digital, sized 5x7 and I'll get it printed and stick on my inside cover next week.

Hindsight
Here is number 12! This challenge was about HINDSIGHT...you've got to peek at Jakey's, it's AWESOME! Hope you all try this one, it's a toughie, but worth it :) Oh yeah...those luscious red swirls are from Jess Bolton's newsletter...YUM!

Al's "Photography I" Class WEEK ONE
This week's assignment is partly here...I'd like to get out again and get some more pics this week since we just had that nasty Noel here :) I have to tell you. it's KILLING me to not crop, enhance, lighten or "fix" any of my photos! BUT the main reason I took this class was to get better shots straight from the camera instead of relying on Photoshop for fixing them. I also wanted to learn to shoot with manual instead of auto settings and "hoping for this best", know what I mean? So here they are...in their naked glory! LOL
**All of these photos were taken, using a Canon Rebel xti with a Tamron 18-200mm lens, on the manual settings: 1/125, F8.0, ISO100**
I really love the next two of my son's friend Kyndra...not sure which is best though?
This is where all the fishing boats are:

New Camera, New Class
I signed up for a class on how to use my DSLR, since I now officially own a Canon Rebel xti...SOOOOOO excited! I love my Fuji, but it is time to move on. Mikey is also taking a class with the same people, but his is advanced. Looking forward to November 1st, we should get some really great experience from this :)

Hubby's photos
Hubby took these of me on the way home from the camera store a couple of days ago. He needed to try his lens immediately! I really do love them, not often there's a helf decent pic of me :)
The other photo is my little neighbour Kyndra, who is my favourite model. I took this one after our little trip for pumpkins and gourds.
